Enterprise Mobility

Mobile Device Management (MDM)

Since 2008, Amaury Lambrecht is supporting companies with the management of their mobile terminal fleet, initially composed of BlackBerry smartphones and soon extended to Apple iPhone/iPad and Android-based mobile devices.

Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)

Driven by the adoption of personally owned terminals (BYOD), MDM platforms have evolved towards managing applications (MAM), content (MCM) and identities (MIM) rather than the device itself.

Thanks to the application containerization technique, it has also become possible to create “secure bubbles” in a phone to create a border between personal and professional applications.

In 2012, the acronym “EMM” emerged as an umbrella for management platforms combining these functionalities.

Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)

Beyond smartphones and tablets, the latest evolution of management platforms integrates all connected objects (laptop/desktop computers, printers, iOT, …) , allowing to manage and secure all kind of devices using a single console. Since 2014, the acronym “UEM” is used for such platforms.
